McKennas Guide

The Top of the Rock is a deeply beautiful, and a deeply spiritual, place.
You wake up in the morning, after a night of deep and silent sleep in your comfy pod, gaze out over the peaceful undulations of the Ilen Valley and the Castledonovan Hills and, chances are, you will reckon that you have found paradise, here at the Top of the Rock. David and Elizabeth Ross’s inspired idea to create a small settlement of Gallarus Oratory-style pods, on their family farm, gives everyone a chance to get up close and personal with the beauty of West Cork, and provides the perfect base for walking the great West Cork trails, such as the Sheep’s Head Way and St Finbarr’s Pilgrim Way. Magic.
